OUR PHILOSOPHY.

MUTTS is a dedicated group of volunteers whose primary mission is to rescue and rehome dogs at risk of homelessness, abuse, and neglect. We work in close collaboration with shelters and underserved communities spanning Manitoba, Ontario, and Quebec, as well as in partnership with rescue organizations in other countries. We approach owner surrenders on a case-by-case basis and firmly believe that every dog in need deserves our help, without discrimination.

Our vision is straightforward: We are committed to addressing the issue of overpopulation among homeless and abandoned dogs through education, advocacy, and adoption. Additionally, we provide a compassionate refuge for pet owners facing hardship and unable to care for their animals.

In light of the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic and the unfortunate cancellation of spay/neuter clinics, these communities require our assistance more urgently than ever, and we remain resolute in delivering the essential resources.
